splish splash

To me, nothing is more entertaining or rewarding these days than taking June swimming at the Y. Adrienne and I took her there last week, and yesterday I had her there on my own. She just squeals with delight. Her frantic foot stamping is something to behold. She launches herself down the kiddie slide with reckless abandon, she occasionally pauses to study the other swimmers, and when she loses her balance and submerges herself, she remains utterly unfazed. Of course, leaving the pool isn't always welcomed, but it's easy for me to deal with a minor protest when so many giggles precede it.
